THE REVIEW

It wasn't easy to decide whether to talk about "Instinct" or "Empathy", the only two albums released by Mandalay during their relatively short musical career.

If I had to choose an adjective to describe this album, I think "intimate" would suffice.
Listening to this hidden beauty can open the doors to bittersweet scenarios, and, for once, I want to think positively and focus on the 'sweet' part of the word.

A couple sitting in the backseat of a car on an autumn night, the CD starts.
They embrace and stroke each other's arms, hair. Neither speaks, a almost opiate-like calm surrounds the ethereal singing.
Nothing more, nothing else is needed. Moments that seem endless.
("Too Much Room")

Simple review, just as they were. Pure and straight to the heart.
