Exhumed is an American death metal/grindcore band formed in 1990 in San Jose, California by Matt Harvey. Known for gore-obsessed lyrics and high-velocity deathgrind, they released key albums such as Gore Metal (1998), Slaughtercult (2000), and Anatomy Is Destiny (2003) on Relapse Records, paused in 2005, and returned in 2010 with renewed ferocity.
