In the Woods... are a Norwegian avant‑garde metal band from Kristiansand formed in 1992. They evolved from black/doom roots into progressive, atmospheric territories across Heart of the Ages (1995), Omnio (1997), and Strange in Stereo (1999), later reforming to release Pure (2016), Cease the Day (2018), and Diversum (2022).
