Fungus

Fungus is a Dutch folk group from Vlaardingen, formed at the end of the ’60s by singer-guitarist Fred Piek. Their 1974 self-titled debut reworks traditional Dutch songs alongside Scottish and Irish material; the single Kaap'ren Varen became a major Dutch hit. Members cited in the review include Sido Martens, Kees Maat, Louis Debij, and Koos Pakvis.
