Mike Bloomfield

Mike Bloomfield was a Chicago-born American blues guitarist known for his work with the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Bob Dylan’s Highway 61 Revisited sessions and Newport ’65, The Electric Flag, and the Al Kooper collaboration Super Session. A key figure in the 1960s American blues revival, he died in 1981.
