British acid-jazz collective from London led by Rob Gallagher, signed to Gilles Peterson’s Talkin’ Loud. Debut album In Pursuit of the 13th Note (1991) set their jazz-funk-hip hop blend; The Plot Thickens (1994) amplified their socially conscious voice. Active in 1988–1997 and reformed in 2023.
