Maeror Tri were a German drone/ambient-industrial trio from Leer, formed in 1988 by Stefan Knappe, Martin Gitschel, and Helge Siehl. Working largely with processed electric guitars, they bridged kosmische traditions and industrial textures. After 1996, Knappe and Gitschel continued as Troum.
