Ivano Fossati (born 1951 in Genoa) is an Italian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist known for literary lyrics and a wide stylistic range. He emerged in the early 1970s, worked with Delirium, collaborated with Fabrizio De André (Anime salve) and released acclaimed studio and live albums; reviews record that he announced an end to studio recording after 2011's Decadancing.
