Petrol are a Turin-based Italian rock band featuring Franz Goria (ex-Fluxus), Dan Solo (ex-Marlene Kuntz), Ale Bavo, and Valerio Alessio, with Nino AzzarĂ  later on guitar. Their debut Dal Fondo (2007, Casasonica) pairs layered, powerful rock with incisive Italian lyrics; a self-produced EP followed in 2009.
