Alphataurus is an Italian progressive rock band from Milan. Their self-titled 1973 debut is widely regarded as a classic of Italian prog. The original lineup featured Michele Bavaro (vocals), Pietro Pellegrini (keyboards), Guido Wassermann (guitar), Alfonso Oliva (bass), and Giorgio Santandrea (drums). After disbanding in the 1970s, the group later reunited and released new material including AttosecondO.
