How many exaggerations in many definitions. They were very good in the studio, managing to create quite a nice sound thanks to some excellent ideas from Jimmy Page in the mic placement. But live, where they could not replicate the same sound, they were nothing exceptional. Jack Bruce says so too. In concerts, they relied entirely on the stage presence of Plant and Page and on the power and generosity of Bonham. A 4 for historical importance, but Deep Purple are from another planet.

Led Zeppelin

Led Zeppelin were an English rock band formed in 1968 by Jimmy Page with Robert Plant, John Paul Jones and John Bonham. They became one of the most influential rock groups of the late 1960s and 1970s; the band disbanded after John Bonham's death in 1980.
