In my opinion, they had the DeLorean and traveled forward in time by 10-20 years... it would explain how they managed to anticipate such a groundbreaking movement. Iommi, the greatest metal guitarist of all time, practically invented the foundational matrix of every riff in the genre; there’s no metal guitarist who won’t eventually collide with his style.
