White Lion

White Lion are a Danish-American hard rock/glam metal band formed in New York City in 1983 by vocalist Mike Tramp and guitarist Vito Bratta. They broke through with Pride (1987) and the hit singles Wait and When the Children Cry, followed by Big Game (1989) and Mane Attraction (1991). The original band disbanded in 1992; Mike Tramp later led a new lineup that released Return of the Pride (2008).
