the technical term is: masturbation technique for its own sake… technically impeccable, practically useless :D except in rare and sporadic cases like: Through Her Eyes which the average Dream fan judges as “the worst song” of the band because obviously there are no time changes, Petrucci solos at lightning speed, and LaBrie's high notes that shatter the so-called… in short, the worst song which in fact is the only one eh ;)
