Krzysztof Kieslowski

Polish film director and screenwriter (1941–1996), renowned for The Decalogue and the Three Colours trilogy. He moved from documentary roots in Poland to internationally acclaimed, philosophically driven dramas, frequently collaborating with screenwriter Krzysztof Piesiewicz and composer Zbigniew Preisner.
