I absolutely agree with cece65, it would have been a completely different story internationally if he had been English, but let's try to reevaluate it ourselves! I still remember all the tapes my father used to make me listen to when I was little (even though I didn’t understand much) in our Ducato :-)

Lucio Battisti

Lucio Battisti (1943–1998) was an Italian singer-songwriter and composer, celebrated for his collaborations first with lyricist Mogol and later with Pasquale Panella. His career spans 1960s pop classics to later experimental, electronic 'white' albums.
