Ian Tyson

Ian Tyson (25 September 1933 – 29 December 2022) was a Canadian singer-songwriter known for his work in folk and country music. He was half of the duo Ian & Sylvia and later pursued a solo career steeped in cowboy and prairie themes; he wrote songs that became standards of Canadian folk.
