Dream Theater

If you're looking for just the technique in music, you might enjoy them. Remove this superfluous feature, and if instead you're looking for feeling, composition, inventiveness, etc., stay away. A poor copy of Queensryche, even in their highly praised early albums. It's surprising that Petrucci, perhaps free from creative constraints, has produced one of the best solo guitar albums ever (suspended animation).
