Chris Squire

He and his Rick are a legend. As a bassist, he has been essential in the rock scene, but to define him solely as a bassist (no matter how phenomenal) is definitely misleading. An absolutely brilliant musician, indispensable in Yes and also amazing as a solo artist. Oh, and he has an incredible voice too. I adore him.

Chris Squire

Chris Squire was an English bassist, singer, songwriter, and co-founder of Yes, renowned for his melodic, overdriven Rickenbacker 4001 tone. His solo album Fish Out of Water (1975) is a prog landmark; he also released the holiday collection Swiss Choir (2007), formed Conspiracy, and co-wrote the single Run With the Fox (1981) with Alan White. He died in 2015.
