Luca Turilli

Whether one likes it or not, with Rhapsody he is (or has been?) a great guitarist and an outstanding composer and musical screenwriter; not a genius but certainly endowed with a melodic sensitivity above average; however, if Rhapsody wouldn’t exist without LT, LT without Rhapsody is a bit like my Inter in the Champions League, as demonstrated by his solo production, which is far from excellent and miles away in impact and completeness from the levels of the band he belongs to.

Luca Turilli

Luca Turilli is an Italian guitarist and composer, co-founder and principal songwriter of Rhapsody (later Rhapsody of Fire). Beyond his work with the band, he released solo albums including King of the Nordic Twilight (1999), Prophet of the Last Eclipse (2002), and The Infinite Wonders of Creation (2006), and led the projects Dreamquest and Luca Turilli's Rhapsody.
