Black Sabbath

They rushed everything and everyone. With the first song of their first album, they renewed rock when the flower children had already become tiresome. With "Into the Void," they invented stoner. With "Symptom of the Universe," they played thrash when those from the Bay Area were still in middle school. The best band ever?? I think so.
