Overflowing personality, great composer and arranger, he has managed to embody with extreme naturalness the prototype of a 360° musician. The warm and unmistakable voice of his jazz fretless bass has been his mantra. Through a soloistic approach, he has perhaps reformulated more than anyone else the ABCs of an instrument that, thanks to him, gains melodic and counter-melodic functions. Herbie Hancock: "he is an absolute surprise for perceptual faculties." Natural talent.
