Michael Schenker Group

It’s the first and perhaps the best solo project of the great German guitarist, who had already made a mark with Ufo. Schenker possesses an exceptional guitar touch, filled with virtuosity and refinement in the slow pieces, in addition to being a songwriter. He has always been one of my favorite guitar heroes.

Michael Schenker Group is a British hard rock/heavy metal band formed in 1979 by German guitarist Michael Schenker after his tenure with UFO and an early start with Scorpions. Known for high‑octane guitar work and powerful vocals, MSG’s classic era produced staples like The Michael Schenker Group (1980), MSG (1981), Assault Attack (1982), and Built to Destroy (1983).
