Simply extraordinary on a technical level, and there's no arguing about that. Great things compositionally, especially in their early albums, but they've always alternated good records with works that are really superfluous and repetitive. So much incredible technique not always backed by winning musical ideas. They've always divided critics and fans; you either love them to the point of madness or you hate them without discussion. I liked them a lot, but I've grown tired of them; I occasionally listen to them again... but the initial magic has now faded away.
