Overrated and with the original sin of having paved the way for the most cliché chart metalcore of the early 2000s. In years when there were Poison The Well, Norma Jean, Everytime I Die, Glassjaw, not to mention trailblazers like Converge and Dillinger Escape Plan, there was absolutely no need for a proposal like theirs.

Killswitch Engage

Killswitch Engage are an American metalcore band formed in 1999 in Massachusetts. Credited with helping define 2000s metalcore, they broke through with Alive or Just Breathing (2002) and reached wider audiences with The End of Heartache (2004) and As Daylight Dies (2006). Vocalists Jesse Leach and Howard Jones each fronted distinct, celebrated eras.
