The Cure

It is very difficult to describe the amount of beautiful music that Sir Robert Smith produced from 1979 to 1992. From the heirs of Joy Division in their early Dark incarnation to the stunning pop evolution of the mid-'80s, a giant band. My favorite? Perhaps "Disintegration," the masterpiece where the two souls coexist perfectly. But those are just details.

The Cure

The Cure are an English rock band formed in Crawley and led by singer-songwriter Robert Smith. Since the late 1970s they have moved between post-punk, gothic atmospheres and pop-oriented experiments, producing widely admired albums such as Disintegration and Pornography.
