Umberto Bindi

Umberto Bindi (Bogliasco, 1932 – 2002) was an Italian singer-songwriter and composer of the Genoese school, classically trained and known for elegant melodies. He authored staples like Arrivederci, Il nostro concerto and Il mio mondo (adapted worldwide as You’re My World). After a Sanremo 1961 backlash and years of industry ostracism, he returned to the festival in 1996 with Letti (with New Trolls).
