Algernon Blackwood

Algernon Blackwood (1869–1951) was an English author of weird and supernatural fiction. Celebrated for The Willows and The Wendigo, he also created the occult detective John Silence. He lived in Canada and the U.S. before returning to England, and was associated with the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn.
