"Could it be that our Vinicione has been a bit overrated?" No, absolutely not. Okay, it takes inspiration from Waits, if not to say that sometimes it's a copycat, but that's no reason to belittle it. Canzoni a manovella and Ovunque proteggi are two of the most beautiful albums ever produced in Italy and among the 5 most beautiful albums of the millennium (at least up to now). Even in episodes like the debut from '90 or Il ballo di San Vito, it manages to deliver a quartet of wonderful songs.
