Jack Nicholson

One of the few actors to have navigated the decades of Hollywood without ever losing his essence, remaining true to his character while developing it through the eyes of directors like Stanley Kubrick, Martin Scorsese, Roman Polanski, and Bob Rafelson. A few minor missteps in the 2000s, but as far as I'm concerned, he's made his mark in history and can smirk as much as he likes.
