New Trolls

Concerto Grosso undoubtedly deserves a place of honor among the most prestigious Italian prog records, and they, especially Di Palo and De Scalzi, are musicians and composers of very respectable caliber. It's a shame that, after the aforementioned Concerto Grosso, they followed the lead of RAI, the management, and the charts, producing several abominations of questionable quality.

New Trolls are a Genoese Italian rock band often associated with Italian progressive rock, noted for their early-1970s blend of rock instrumentation with classical/orchestral writing (especially the “Concerto Grosso” works with composer Luis Enriquez Bacalov), and for a long, turbulent history of lineup changes and stylistic shifts.
