Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft (DAF) are a German duo from Düsseldorf formed in 1978 by Gabi Delgado‑López and Robert Görl. With a stark drums/synth + voice setup and provocative lyrics, they helped define Electronic Body Music and the sharper edge of NDW. Key works include Alles ist gut (with the hit Der Mussolini) and Gold und Liebe. Gabi Delgado‑López died in 2020.
