Umberto Tozzi

Despite not being exactly a phenomenon, I can't really consider it a nothingness either. All in all, it deserves a 3, come on. At least it's likable.

Umberto Tozzi

Umberto Tozzi is an Italian singer-songwriter from Turin, active since the 1970s. He broke through with Ti amo (1977), Tu (1978) and Gloria (1979), often working with lyricist Giancarlo Bigazzi. Gloria later became an international hit via Laura Branigan’s cover. In 1987 he performed at Eurovision with Raf on Gente di mare.
