Motta is a singer, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter. He began his artistic career in 2006, at just twenty years old, with the Criminal Jokers, a band from Pisa with which he released two albums, "This was supposed to be the future" (2009) and "Bestie" (2012). During this time, he also gained other significant musical experiences: he put his versatility to good use by collaborating with Nada (playing bass, keyboards, guitar, and backing vocals), Pan del Diavolo (drums), The Zen Circus (sound technician for the "Andate tutti affanculo" tour), and Giovanni Truppi (guitar and keyboards). In 2013, he studied Film Composition at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome under the artistic direction of Ludovic Bource (Oscar winner in 2012 for the score of The Artist).
