What a drag with this punk, as if a word could change the quality. Anyway, the Butch Vig era is my favorite: 'alternative' formula with piano-soft piano, pounding drums, vocals that stand out, and many fewer chords per song. First, a lot of amorphous broth and then some nice garage attempts amidst way too much nostalgia for the past.
