The debut Pretty Hate Machine features excellent synth pop not without certain industrial metal angularities that will reach their expressive peak in a masterpiece like The Downward Spiral and in its excellent successor The Fragile. They have literally been reborn starting from 2013 with Hesitation Marks and the trilogy of EPs.
