From my perspective, criticizing Ed Sheeran is pointless, but praising him is unusual. But how do you praise him? What new things does this artist bring? None. You might say, "not everyone can be an innovator," and I agree. But does he write the best songs? No. He merely has the ability to remix four ingredients used millions of times and to present himself well. Zero substance.
