Undisputed protagonist of the Italian music scene and great innovator, he co-writes with Mogol some of the most beautiful songs of all time, founds Numero Uno, and promotes great artists. An immense career with few shadows, the American interlude and the abrupt withdrawal from the scene, he continues to release successful albums. At the end of his career, another courageous turn guarantees him further great acclaim from both the public and critics. He passes away prematurely in 1998 with the same discretion as always.
