Il Genio

Il Genio is an Italian electropop duo formed by Gianluca De Rubertis and Alessandra Contini. Debut album Il Genio (2008, Disastro Records/Cramps Records) yielded the hit single Pop Porno. The second album, Vivere negli anni X (2010), pushed toward a more refined, layered pop while keeping retro French-pop and Shibuya-kei influences.
