90% of what he writes is superficial, sometimes pure nonsense, purely provocative, and always written with an arrogance and condescension that is disgusting. Nonetheless, in the remaining 10%, he introduces high-level cult music that most people aren't even vaguely aware of. But in any case, he remains an unacceptable character, creator of true monsters (his various "followers" who copy-paste his rankings) and, as a critic, entirely blameworthy in his approach and principles. Evaluating music with high school-esque numbers is pure degradation of this art (despite his claim to provide pseudo-objective ratings based on importance and historical influence). The real issue, more than anything, lies with those who take him too seriously.
