Great live performances, excellent discography up to the late 70s (Fandango above all), then they were dramatically sold out and became slaves to a silly and now ridiculous image that has always made them a caricature of rock, a guide for many Texan truckers, pride of the rednecks.

ZZ Top are a Texas-based American rock band formed in 1969, widely associated with blues-rock, boogie, and Southern rock. The classic trio lineup is Billy Gibbons (guitar, vocals), Dusty Hill (bass, vocals), and Frank Beard (drums).
