As a careful commentator on judicial matters, over time he has convinced himself that he is the guardian of truth, that he can always distinguish what is right from what is wrong, who is guilty from who is innocent, a good law from a bad one.... It almost makes me want to have him elected prime minister by acclamation just to see what he would be capable of doing. For now, just empty bravado.
