I consider him among the greatest; his art arises from discomfort, from the love he idealized but never received, simply for his being, from the inner pain when you hit rock bottom and feel like crap. Poetry and wine, skipping meals for a glass, waking up in an alley, the search for love but realizing you're not fit to live like others, only because you have a sensitivity that rejects conventions and prefers free drifting, even to extreme consequences. I consider him one of the greatest poets, a singer of life, of rejection, of freedom. A man to love.
