The Strokes

Casablanca is quite a sneaky character, a spoiled bourgeois and a heavy drinker (a prime example of the so-called "beer belly"), I initially liked their first singles quite a bit, but over time they took the usual irreversible path like other colleagues who at the time were seen as the new hopes of the alternative - indie & various crap scene, the constant quotes from "rebel" girls on tumblr & company contributed to making them really annoying to me.

The Strokes are an American rock band from New York City, formed in 1998, widely associated with the early-2000s garage rock/post-punk revival and breakthrough success with their debut album “Is This It”.
