Cult band of the Seattle scene, unfortunately exploited by pseudo-alternative kids who want to be rebellious non-conformists, thus becoming a mass of fake angry teenagers with acne who are all the same. In summary, a good band ruined by their "fans."

American rock band formed in the late 1980s, fronted by Kurt Cobain with Krist Novoselic and later Dave Grohl. Broke into the mainstream with Nevermind (1991) and released In Utero (1993); Cobain died in 1994.
