The Clash

The true Punks within Punk, both in terms of lyrics and music, as they got fed up with the usual "rebellious" musical scheme, which they then disintegrated with sounds of reggae, ska, pop, and even some jazz. I haven't listened to them in a long time because of some memories; I used to love them years ago. Absurd geniuses for their time.

The Clash

English punk rock band formed in London in 1976. Core lineup included Joe Strummer, Mick Jones, Paul Simonon and Topper Headon. Influential for blending punk with reggae, rockabilly, funk and early rap; disbanded mid-1980s.
