Started as a pink version of Led Zeppelin mixed with David Bowie and Marc Bolan, they composed music so baroque and pompous that it seemed important for Rock, only to end up in a sea of banal and saccharine pop that plays in the background while shopping. A few nice songs are not missing, but without Mercury's voice the other three would have remained three nobodies.
