Candlemass

Candlemass is a Swedish doom metal band from Stockholm, widely credited as a key architect of epic doom. Founded by bassist and main songwriter Leif Edling, they became renowned for slow, heavy, Sabbath-influenced riffs and dramatic vocals, particularly during the era fronted by Messiah Marcolin.
