Vanessa Carlton

For me, more than just a talented singer-songwriter, I would define her almost as a phenomenon; the first album, in my opinion, is astounding. And let's consider that she wrote A Thousand Miles at the age of 16. In the latest EP Blue Pool, she dived into a slightly more hypnotic indie sound with results that are more than satisfying.
