He has made a big deal to the whole world about how Africa is a continent that has fallen in the cesspool and that the West is just pulling the chain. Yet he places his millions of dollars in tax havens that are on the OECD's blacklist. An opportunist like few others, it is surprising that so few people fail to see the inconsistency he has been navigating for years.

Bono (Paul David Hewson, born 10 May 1960) is an Irish singer-songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist and primary lyricist of the rock band U2. He has been active since the mid-1970s.
